More than 99% Bank Offices in Quake-affected Areas Resumed Businesses
 

According to the updated statistics of the CBRC, another 25 bank offices have resumed businesses up to the morning of June 6, thus making more than 99% bank offices come into operations in quake-affected areas. At present, only 83 bank offices in Sichuan province have not yet recovered, accounting for 0.65% of the total bank outlets in the province. While in Shaanxi province and Gansu province, all banks have been back on the right course. Besides, outlets of ICBC and ABC in Sichuan have all resumed businesses by taking various contingency measures such as sharing office accommodation, rigging up tents for service, etc.. Among the not yet recovered, 97.4% of BOC offices have resumed with 12 unsettled; over 99% of CCB offices have run businesses again with 3 left pending; 98.5% of CPSB offices have started to deliver financial service with 45 under reconstruction; and more than 99% of RCCs have recovered with 16 out of service.
