On June 23, 2008, the CBRC Chairman LIU Mingkang and Disciplinary Commissioner WANG Huaqing paid a visit to China Banking Association (the CBA), during which the Chairman affirmed the efforts recently made by the CBA and required the whole banking industry to 1) continuously make endeavors on providing financial service for the relief and reconstruction work in quake-affected areas; 2) fully support the upcoming Olympic Games with safe and sound banking service; and 3) closely monitor domestic and overseas economic and financial changes and strengthen risk management with a view to warding off risks and delivering quality service. In addition, Chairman LIU introduced about the major issues involved in the SED IV he attended in the US recently.
