CCBP Exams on Wealth Management and Risk Management were held on October 27 in provincial capitals and some other cities. Over 220,000 banking professionals took the exams. Wang Huaqing, Commissioner of Discipline Inspection of CBRC, as well as over 20 executives of major commercial banks in Beijing paid an inspection visit on Saturday.
The certificates of wealth management and risk management are designed respectively for wealth managers and risk managers working in commercial banks. Trail exams on the two subjects have been successfully carried out in 11 cities on November 18 last year.
CCBP, promoted by China Banking Association through self-regulation, is a certification program for professionals working in banking institutions in China. The certificate not only requires basic knowledge and skills needed for banking professionals, but also includes code of conduct and ethics that need to be abided by.
