Liu Zhangjun, Executive Vice President of CBA met visiting Takhito Miyaguchi, President of Mizuho Corporate Bank on April 26, 2007. After expressing his congratulations to Mr. Miyaguchi’s promotion, Mr. Liu introduced CBA’s work plan of 2007, especially that of the CBA Loan Syndication and Transaction Association (CBALSTA). Mr. Liu hoped that as a founder of the Japan Syndication and Loan-trading Association (JSLA) Mizuho could also contribute to the development of China’s loan syndication market.

Mr. Miyaguchi expressed his gratitude to Mr. Liu’s consistent support to Mizuho and congratulated Mr. Liu for CBA’s achievements over the year. He also said that as President of Mizuho, he would put Mizuho (China)’s joining CBA on his top agenda and be glad to see it play a more important role in CBALSTA.

Mr. Yasuyuki Nagahama, Vice President of Mizuho (China), Mr. Kunio Asai, General Manager of Mizuho’s Beijing branch, and directors of Self-regulation Department and International Department of CBA also attended the meeting.
