Liu Zhangjun, Executive Vice President of CBA attended the awarding ceremony of Outstanding Financial Planner Awards 2006 organized by Hong Kong Association of Banks (HKAB) in Hong Kong and made keynote speech on October 31, 2006.

During his stay in Hong Kong, Liu met Joseph Yam, Chief Executive of Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), Peter T S Wong, President of Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB), Samuel N Tsien, Chairman Executive Committee of HKIB and other financial experts. They made discussions and exchanged views on cooperation on training of financial personnel and development of certifications between the mainland and Hong Kong. Liu expressed that Hong Kong enjoys great advantages in wealth management compared with the mainland. He hope the two sides can further their communication and cooperation for faster development of wealth management in China.
