Liu Zhangjun, Executive Vice President of China Banking Association met Emmanuel Daniel, President and Editor-in-Chief of The Asian Banker on October 18, 2006.

Mr. Liu and Mr. Daniel exchanged views on the China International Banking Convention 2006, which is to be held on the following two days in Beijing. The Convention, co-hosted by CBA and The Asian Banker, will focus on innovation and competition in a global market.

Both Mr. Liu and Mr. Daniel agree that the Convention marks the beginning of communications and cooperations between CBA and The Asian Banker. The two institutions shall further communications and explore potentials for win-win cooperations.
