Mr. Liu has taken various positions in the financial sector. His career started from Henan Institute of Financial Management till he took the position of Deputy Director in PBoC in April 1992. From April 1994 to February 2004, he worked as Director of the Savings Division, Director of Supervision Division and Assistant Inspector in PBoC, He accepted the appointment as Deputy Chief of Kizilsu Kirgiz Autonomous Prefecture in August 2002 before working as Inspector at CBRC in February 2004. And he took the position of Executive Vice President of CBA in December 2004.
